CBT Supervision: What It Is and How We Can Do It Well

In the past decade, we have seen a rise in the attention given to CBT supervision, and it is now regarded as crucial in developing and maintaining high standards of CBT practice. This workshop focuses on developing and refining the essential skills of CBT supervision.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- review how we can best prepare ourselves as supervisors
- explore the empirical status of CBT supervision
- review CBT supervision competencies
- emphasise the core skills of supervision
- review key models of supervision
- review methods of assessing supervisee competency in CBT
A variety of interactive methods will be used throughout, including role play, discussion and small group work.
