Unlocking the latest in CBTp: Introducing the OCRU webinar series for clinicians
We are delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new initiative from the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre: The Oxford CBTp Research Update for Clinicians Webinar Series (OCRU), starting in January 2026!
This free monthly series is designed for NHS clinicians delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) who want to stay up to date with the latest evidence-base but may find it difficult amidst busy workloads and limited access, or confidence with, academic literature.

What to expect from the OCRU webinar series
Monthly webinars: During 2026, join us on the last Monday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm for a focused, one-hour session. The exception to this is the May date, which is scheduled for Monday 18th May due to UK bank holiday times. If the series is well received, we will continue offering these webinars regularly.
Expert presentations: Every webinar features leading researchers who will share clinically relevant CBTp research. Presentations last about 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute live Q&A — your chance to ask questions and engage with the experts.
Flexible format: Some sessions will have a single presenter, while others may include a team sharing different perspectives or aspects of their research.
On-Demand access: Can’t attend live? All sessions are recorded (subject to presenter agreement) and available online for three months (or longer, depending on presenter agreement), so you can watch them at your convenience.
Who can attend?
NHS clinicians delivering CBTp are the main audience, but anyone with a professional interest – such as DPhil students, clinical researchers, or assistant psychologists – is welcome to attend.
How much does it cost?
Attendance is completely free. We want this resource to be accessible to all, so there are no registration fees or complicated sign-up steps. While this means we are unable to offer payment to presenters, we hope they will value the opportunity to share their work directly with NHS clinicians.
