exactly as I expected. Gave strong foundation to CBT
I had a very positive learning experience on this Introduction to CBT course. The course was well structured and easy to follow, moving clearly from assessment and formulation to basic therapeutic skills, depression, panic, health anxiety, OCD, and social anxiety. I especially appreciated how the sessions helped me understand CBT in a practical way, not only as theory but also as an approach that can be used to understand clients’ thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and maintaining cycles. The assessment and formulation part gave me a strong foundation, and the later sessions helped me connect this knowledge with common mental health difficulties. The teaching was clear, organised, and relevant for anyone beginning CBT training or wishing to strengthen their understanding of CBT practice. I found the course useful for my professional development and confidence, especially as someone building a pathway in psychology and mental health support. Overall, the course met my expectations and gave me a solid introduction to CBT principles, therapeutic skills, and working with common psychological problems. I would recommend it to learners who want a clear and structured foundation in CBT.
