Working with Common Problems
Our Introduction to CBT course provides a practical foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Taught in four parts over eight days, it covers assessment and formulation, core therapeutic skills, working with depression, and approaches to common problems such as panic, social anxiety and OCD.
Led by experienced trainers, the course is interactive, skills-focused and designed to help you apply CBT techniques confidently in your practice. The workshops are skills based and give participants opportunities to practice techniques relevant to the specific problems.
These workshops are suitable for mental health professionals from any discipline who want a basic introduction to CBT skills. They have been successfully run around the country for nurses, doctors, trainee psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and counsellors.
